Dominika

Biography
Dominika is a Hungarian classical pianist graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest with a highest honours MMus degree in Piano Performance in 2018. Upon her graduation she was offered the Weingarten scholarship to study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where she received another postgraduate degree in Piano Performance with distinction in 2020.
A finalist in the Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize her passion for chamber music has grown in the past years. She has performed around Budapest, Birmgingham, Cardiff, London, recently with musicians of the Southbank Sinfonia at St John’s Smith Square. She is also involved with contemporary music, having performed with the BCMG Next musicians and working on projects with Infinite Opera introducing new music to a wider audience.
Dominika is experienced in preparing students – both children and adults – for the main exam boards (ABRSM and Trinity) from complete beginners up to diploma grades. She is a friendly and enthusiastic teacher with the aim to bring the joy of music-making to students and guide them towards a more expressive playing and a better understanding of music beyond the printed notes.
