Giacomo

Piano

Biography

Born in Italy, Giacomo attended the XXVIII (2010), XXIX (2011) and XXX (2012) International Course of Musical Interpretation at Norcia, and the International Piano Days (Conservatories Monteverdi of Bolzano and Trinity Laban of London) in Montepulciano (2016 and 2017). During his studies he was selected to play with his professor’s class in several european cities such as London, Oxford, Bristol, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Malta and Budapest. Giacomo played in concerts held in Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Merano, Scandicci, and in the Sala Michelangeli of the Conservatorio Claudio Monteverdi in Bolzano.

Giacomo has taken part to a many international piano competitions (first prize at Vito Frazzi competition in Scandicci), and was chosen by the Conservatory of Bolzano to take part to Busoni Piano competition and thereafter to play in two editions (2016 and 2017) of the Bolzano Piano Festival.

Giacomo is currently a scholar at the Royal College of Music (Mperf) under the guidance of Maestro Gordon Fergus-Thompson. In teaching, Giacomo has taught all ages and abilities from beginners to more advanced with experience teaching at the Musical Academy in Florence and at Conservatorio di musica "Claudio Monteverdi" Musikkonservatorium in Bolzano (Italy).
