Mike is jazz saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, RAM alumnus and composer based in the UK. In July 2021 he was awarded a First Class BMus (Hons) degree from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, under the tutelage of John O’Gallagher and Mike Williams. In June 2023, Mike graduated with an MA Distinction in Jazz Performance and a Dip RAM, from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. He has had the privilege of being taught by and the opportunity to perform with jazz musicians such as Will Vinson, Rachael Cohen, Tim Garland, Gwilym Simcock, Nikki Iles, Percy Pursglove and Nick Smart.

As well as performing, Mike enjoys teaching private students and in schools across London, gaining valuable tutoring experience at the Francis Holland School in Chelsea, the Roche School in Wandsworth and Fulham Boys School. He was involved with the National Youth Jazz Collective Summer School in 2019 and became a Midlands National Youth Jazz Collective Ambassador, helping teach young, talented jazz musicians in workshop sessions.
